RFMON CLOUD $100/YR

Bring-up

Sequence

Sign up with your email. Paste a monitor MAC if you have it. The cloud plan is $100/year when billing opens.

  1. 01Sign up with the email you want to log in with, and a password. Callsign is optional.
  2. 02Attach the unit by MAC on that same form, or afterward in the portal. One MAC, one account. AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF or 12 hex digits.
  3. 03The monitor reports into your portal. That is the ESP8266 prototype now, and later firmware for ESP32, Linux, Raspberry Pi, and other boards. The hardware key stays with the hardware team. Customers never get it.
  4. 04Paid cloud ($100/yr to start) will keep history and availability: silent stretches, a supply that dropped, a radio that stopped keying. Useful when something is down, and when you plan a replacement.
  5. 05A paid account can mint a read key for their own tools. Remote PTT stays an armed action for the license holder who owns that MAC. This site does not key a radio.

Temperature packages are on the plan, after this sequence. RFMon 1 is one channel on ESP8266. An ESP32 follows with eight channels, or stackable modules. Both post device temp on the same check-in. Channel 1 sends c in Celsius.
